Potassium Iodine (KI) Tablets Available For TMI Area Residents

The State Department of Health (DOH) is providing “Free” Potassium Iodide (KI) to people who live, work or attend school within a 10 mile area around the TMI Nuclear Generating Plant. Taking KI tablets can help protect the thyroid gland against harmful radioactive iodine in the unlikely event of a radiological incident at one of the plants.

The distribution will take place on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at two sites in Lancaster County:
